MOVEA SA ANNOUNCES NEW CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD AND CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Grenoble, FR, October 5th, 2009 – Movea SA today announced that it has named Charles Picasso as Chairman of the Board and Julian Foulger as Chief Financial Officer. Movea SA is the global leader in technology, patents, and products for motion-sensing applications in consumer electronics, healthcare, game and fitness markets.
Picasso joins Movea from Seattle-based online video startup GridNetworks, where he served as a Board Director. Previously, Picasso was Chairman of the Board at Narus Inc, a leader in providing real-time traffic intelligence for the largest internet protocol networks around the world. Picasso also served as the President and CEO of IHS, Inc., a critical technical information company with over $550 million in sales to customers in the energy, defense, aerospace, construction, electronics and automotive industries.
Foulger comes to Movea from Shaw Healthcare, a UK Healthcare Group where he has been Financial Director and a Board Member since 2003, during which time the company nearly doubled in size. Before that, Julian was Chief Financial Officer and a Board Member of Wireless Systems International, a 3G wireless infrastructure developer and manufacturer, where he was one of the first 10 employees and a key part of the team that grew the company from a valuation of $7 million to $120 million.
